Same day
to ship a new workflow, down from about three weeks

Sticker Ventures had already built its own AI stack on Claude and Zapier. It worked. It also took three weeks per workflow and rested on one person. They bought Ventos because the constraint was never capability.

Ventos upgrades the stack they already use. Nothing had to be replaced.
Sticker already had someone who could do the work, with the technical background to build on Claude directly. What the fund did not have was a second one of him. Priced against a hire rather than against a subscription, the decision was straightforward.

“Even here, where there is a tech person on the team who can do it, we preferred to put something else in place.”
The fund was not starting from zero. It ran real automations on Claude, with integrations wired one at a time through Zapier. The difference is who carries the work when something breaks.
Before
With Ventos
“I think of a new flow and I can implement it tomorrow. If it doesn’t work, I send you a message and you deal with making it work, not me.”
Onboarding started with the use cases the fund would not run without. Ventos built the ones that were missing, and the platform proved itself inside a month.
The first workflow that worked, and the one that convinced the partners the platform was worth paying for.
Deals and invoices arriving by email land as structured records instead of being re-keyed by hand.
Research runs against the fund context rather than starting from a blank prompt each time.
Reporting on each company and on the fund draws from one connected source instead of a manual collection round.
Quarterly reporting means saying exactly what is happening at each portfolio company and across the fund. Without a single source to draw from, that meant going out and collecting it, company by company. Ventos gives the reporting cycle one connected place to read from.
Before Ventos
5 days
A full working week of collection, every quarter, before a report could be written.
With Ventos
One connected source
Portfolio and fund context sit in one place the reporting cycle can read from directly.
Onboarding began by naming the workflows the fund considered non-negotiable. The ones that did not exist yet were built. Since then, when something does not work, it goes back to the Ventos team rather than onto the fund’s roadmap.
Sticker describes itself as at the beginning. The first LP report built on Ventos is in progress, and the fund expects the platform to get more useful as more of its context is connected. On answer quality: not always exactly what was asked for, but nothing invented. Their own advice to other funds is that adoption needs a champion, someone given real time to drive it, not just a budget line.
Connect the stack you already run and describe the workflows you want. We build what is missing and fix what breaks.
